As part of our maths learning, Bluebell Class have been exploring positional language, including words such as over, through, behind, next to, and between. The children have been developing their understanding of how objects and people can move and be positioned in different spaces.

To apply their new skills, the children designed an obstacle course made from wooden blocks and balancing beams. They confidently used positional language as they navigated the course.

It was wonderful to see the children combining mathematical vocabulary with physical problem-solving, developing their communication skills, balance and teamwork through active, hands-on learning. 🪵✨
