Our Mission Statement

In God’s love we learn and grow together

‘We are not some casual and meaningless product of evolution. Each of us is the result of a thought of God.’ Benedict XVI

‘A positive and prudent sex education to be imparted to children and adolescences as they grow older.’ Francis II

Relationships and Sex Education (RSE) is taught throughout the year through Come and See, PSHE  and also taught independently through ‘Journey in Love’. It is taught from Early Years up to Year 6.

Below you can find information about how Come and See links to RSE, and also the specific learning which takes place through ‘Journey in Love’.

Parents/Carers/Carers are welcome to request samples of the resources we use for ‘Journey In Love’ should they wish to look in more detail at the content.

Please note that Parents/Carers/Carers cannot withdraw their child from the statutory Relationships Education lessons, as required by the Department for Education (DFE) guidance 2020.

If you wish to withdraw your child from this lesson, please make your request in writing and address it to the Headteacher.

RSE lessons take place in every year group in each term. Parents/Carers/Carers have the opportunity to raise questions/concerns, view resources in the Autumn term. Below is our RSHE policy which gives a more indepth overview of RSHE.
